NATIONS NOW - GOFEST EVENT / WEDNESDAY 5 SEPTEMBER / 2.00PM-4.00PM / MOORLANDS COLLEGE
Nations Now! A GOfest event in partnership with Moorlands College and Baylink
“We don’t have all the answers but we do know some of the questions!” Join Africa Inland Mission’s International Director Luke Herrin, Baylink Chairman Colin Mitchell, Moorland’s Dr Ian Kirby and local church leaders as we consider together how the local church might further engage with Christ’s command to be his witnesses in the local and global contexts.
The aim of this forum is to stir each other up with new perspectives, ideas and suggested answers on how local churches can obey Christ’s great commission. With over thirty years’ experience of Global Mission, Luke Herrin will help us consider issues such as:
The need is so great in the UK – is there still a need for the UK church to be involved in taking the gospel to the world?
What is the role of the UK church in global mission? What is the Lord calling our church to do in terms of global missions?
Moorlands College, Sopley, Christchurch, BH23 7AT / September 5th, 2018, 14:00-16:00 / Free of charge.

HAZEL PROJECT VOLUNTEERS
Do you have a heart for the broken and vulnerable on the streets in Southampton?
We work every Tuesday with damaged and hurt people on the streets of Southampton and are looking for some more faithful volunteers.
The commitment is one Tuesday a month minimum. We go out for two hours in teams of two to befriend and show the love of Jesus to these hurting people who live on the streets and are often found begging.  We need commitment because the ministry is about building relationships based on trust, care and love.
We are a small and very friendly group.  Even if you are just testing the water to see if this is what the Father might be calling you to do, please speak to Linda Bridges on 023 81782343 or linda.bridges@talktalk.net for more information.  The Hazel Project is a Kings Church ministry although volunteers from any church background are welcome.
