Christians in Science Central South are holding their next public lecture on Tuesday 18th November at 7.30pm in Building 32 (EEE), University of Southampton. Titled 'Science and Faith at War: Myths and Fables, Old and New', Professor Colin Russell will discuss the apparent conflict between science and faith from a historical perspective and explode some of the modern myths surrounding the subject. Colin Russell is Emeritus Professor of History of Science at the Open University and Research Scholar in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at Cambridge University. He writes, lectures and broadcasts widely on the subject of science and religion and his books include 'Michael Faraday: Physics and Faith' OUP, NY, 2000.
