About SCN
Southampton Christian Network (SCN) is an informal network of around 80 churches and Christian organisations within Southampton, who have an evangelical basis of faith. SCN is not the only faith-based network within Southampton and has links with other networks such as Christian Action Network, Churches Together in Southampton, Southampton Council of Faiths, New Wine and other more local networks of churches.
SCN is led by a team of Christian leaders drawn from the member organisations and is chaired by Graham Archer, vicar of Highfield Church.
The aims of SCN are:
- to improve communication between Christian churches and organisations
- develop a greater sense of mission and purpose together
- to promote and co-ordinate prayer in the city.
