Freemantle Prayer : Mondays 15th Feb, 1st & 15th March : Testwood Road
A few Christians who live in Freemantle have been getting together and praying for the area and for their witness in it. At the moment, 12 people are meeting to pray from 6 different churches. The next few dates for meeting are 1st February, 15th February, 1st March and 15th March, 5.30-6pm at 3 Testwood Road. Alzheimers - A Shared Concern : Wed 10th February : 7.30pm : Augustine Centre
Alzheimer's is a common problem and a shared concern. Southampton Community Family Trust are hosting an evening at the Augustine Centre on 10th February to help people gain a basic understanding of dementia issues and provide support to family and carers. Guest Speaker Barbara Pointon MBE plus speakers from the medical, caring and legal professions. Doors open 7pm. Admission free (Donations welcome). Seats may be reserved by contacting SCFT. Connect | Southampton Youth Event : Sat 13th February : Central Hall : 7.30pm
Connect's monthly youth events on a Saturday evening consist of spirit-led worship, life-changing ministry and a biblically-based talk. Premiere of Furious Love Film : Sunday 14th February : Central Hall : 6.15pm

Echoes in Eternity 2 : Mens Day with Eric Delve : Sat 20th February : Central Hall
Men across the region are invited to this mens day with Eric Delve at Central Hall on Saturday 20th February, 9.30am-5pm. This training day will give you hands on experience of puppetry including puppet manipulation skills, how to start a puppet ministry, props, scenery and much more! Ideal for schools workers, church leaders, Sunday school teachers, youth/children's workers, puppet team leaders or members. It is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Using 12 Steps Recovery Programme in Discipleship : Sat 27th Feb : 2-5pm

Mission Shaped Intro Course : 4 Wednesdays in March : Highfield Church : 7.30-9.30pm
Exploring the ‘why’ of creating fresh expressions of church rather than the ‘how’, this four week course takes us on a journey looking at the ever-changing nature of our social communities and why the church needs to rethink its approach to those communities in meaningful and relevant ways. £15 for the whole course, 7.30-9.30pm at Highfield Church on 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th March (Wednesday evenings). The Marriage Course : Thurs eves starting 4th March : Riverside Family Church : 7.15pm
A seven week course offering married couples tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Over a number of evenings, couples talk about important issues over a candlelit dinner. Privacy as a couple is always respected. There is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else. Cost is £90, which includes a candlelit supper each week and all materials. Helping Others Find Freedom in Christ : Sat 27th March : King's Community Church
This one-day event will give you confidence to lead others through The Steps To Freedom In Christ. Come and Sing Fauré's Requiem : Saturday 27th March : Highfield Church

Narrow Road : Riding Lights Production : Friday 2nd April : Highfield Church : 7pm
On Good Friday (2nd April) Riding Lights Theatre Company will be at Highfield Church in Southampton performing The Narrow Road - a moving combination of powerful theatre, meditation and corporate worship. Meeting the characters and re-living the events of the gospels, this passion story takes its audience back along that original road, through the place of the cross and into the challenge of a life beyond. Compellingly performed, The Narrow Road asks each of us to review the understanding and practice of our own faith in relation to that journey today. Anointed : A Women's Conference : 23rd-24th April : Central Baptist Church
Hosted by Bridge Christian Fellowship, Anointed is a conference especially for women; it is for extravagant lovers and for those who wish to rediscover their identity as daughters of the King. Once again we will be hosting a citywide evening prayer celebration on Pentecost Sunday, which is also the Global Day of Prayer. This has been a very encouraging event over the last few years. Big Church Day Out is back, and has added an extra date on Bank Holiday Monday as well. Each day the lineup includes Hillsong United, Switchfoot, Toby Mac, Israel Houghton, Tim Hughes, Brenton Brown, Graham Kendrick, Lou Fellingham, LZ7 and the Kings Chamber Orchestra. Discovering the Father Heart of God : Conference with Mark Stibbe : 4th-5th June
Southampton Christian Network are hosting a conference with Mark Stibbe at Central Hall on Friday and Saturday 4th-5th of June 2010 focussing on the Father Heart of God. We believe that in order for the city of Southampton to have a revelation of the father heart of God, we need to receive it first in the church. This is a conference for the whole citywide church, so we recommend booking early to guarantee a place. The cost for the whole conference is £15 (£10 concessions). Global Awakening School of Healing and Impartation II : 16th-19th June : Central Hall
Following the impact of last year's School of Healing and Impartation, Global Awakening are running a follow up School in Southampton on 16th-19th June at Central Hall, focussing on Healing, Deliverance and Disbelief.
